Health isn't only a women's topic
Most Indian men skip their own health until a report goes red — cholesterol, sugar, BP, or a bad back at 40. The fix isn't a hardcore gym plan. It's a few consistent daily moves that protect your energy, strength and mood for the next 30 years.
The 5 daily non-negotiables
- 10 minutes of morning movement — stretches, surya namaskar or a brisk walk. Wakes up joints, spine, mood.
- Protein at every meal (25–35g) — eggs, dal, paneer, curd, chicken. Protects muscle, controls hunger.
- 10-minute walk after lunch and dinner — the easiest way to control sugar and belly fat.
- Screens off 45 min before bed — sleep is where testosterone, focus and recovery are built.
- One stress vent daily — a walk, a call to a friend, journaling. Bottled stress becomes BP and belly.
What to check yearly (from 30+)
Fasting sugar & HbA1c, lipid profile, vitamin D, B12, thyroid, BP, waist circumference. Numbers give you a head-start; habits keep them in range.
